30th October 2013

Today Marks the 6th official meeting together. Sadly today, many of us were not able to turn up :( It was all in all a super fun session especially during our singing rehearsals. Here is a brief summary of what we did today:-

1. Collected our OCIP shirt sizes
   
2. Zaidy presented the team with posters for our donation drive.
   
3. GOT TO KNOW OUR ITINERARY!!!
   
4. Sing and Harmonize!

Dance Dance

23rd October 2013

Today marks the 5th official meeting of the OCIP Kolkata Team. On this day, we finally finalised our Official T-shirt which has been well designed by both Syafiq and Shamus. Credits too to Lyi Han who has willingly helped the team to get the printing of the T-shirts. Thanks Guys!

Representing the Logistic team, ZhengYi, He has briefed the team on the Donation drive and our collaboration with the OCIP Cambodia team! Syafiq too has represented the OCIP Kolkata team and went up on stage to help promote for the donation drive that we will be carrying out along with those from the OCIP Cambodia team.

To wrap up our meeting for the day, Adelynn and Vaish has choreographed an 'Indian' Dance in which we all had to learn and master. Though tough at first, we held strong and succeeded. And even though we haven't mastered it yet, i'm sure we will do so in time for the trip :)

Lastly to top it all off... we had our FIRST dinner as a team! It was really a pleasant time and we certainly bonded even more! Though the teachers were not present, it was still a dinner to remember.

New Slogan & A New Addition To Our Family

16th October 2013

Today marks our 4th Official Meeting together and we've managed to get some updates from Team Publicity and Team Activities. Team Publicity conducted a survey on what our OCIP shirt will look like and most importantly, what our OCIP slogan would be. After much deliberation, its decided! The Official OCIP slogan would be.........

"HEAL THE WORLD"

This slogan is inspired by the King Of Pop, Michael Jackson in bringing world peace. Similarly, we aim to help the people in Kolkata in improving their way of life.

Team Activities had already planned some cultural performances. In Kolkata, we will be singing songs from the different racial backgrounds in Singapore and also showcasing a dance performance which has been choreographed by Vaish along with Adelynn. 

Last but certainly not least, we have welcomed Ms Tan into the OCIP Kolkata Team! We are delighted to have a new teacher on board this journey with us and share the wonderful memories to come.
