OCIP KOLKATA: Day 7 - Chowringhee High School

Day 7. Final day here in Kolkata. Today we went to visit Chowringhee High School, Shop and made our way back to Singapore.

Chowringhee High school was not very far from our Hotel. An approximate 5 minutes walk. Chowringhee High School was a Co-ed school unlike La Matiniere and was much much smaller too! As we walked into the school, each of us were given a garland! It is a necklace made of flowers.

Jasmine then Represented TPJC's interact club and did a short but wonderful presentation on our interact club! Well Done Jasmine! Chowringhee High then showed us all a video on what their interact club has done throughout 2013. Chowringhee high then had a performance for us! It was a beautifully choreographed dance in which all of us throughly enjoyed. And of course, we too had our final 'Concert' here in Kolkata for them. In my opinion, it was our best one yet. :)

At Chowringhee high, we too had a 'Feed the Poor' session and also had a blanket distribution for the homeless. And that was our final community work here in Kolkata.

After heading back to the hotel and checking out, we had a 1 hour bus ride to the Shopping Mall! However, we only had an hour of shopping. :( Some of us made full use of that hour. Like Jaden. He bought over 10 Books in that hour! We had dinner at KFC and then headed to the Airport. It was the last time on the tiny yet comfortable tour bus of ours and we had one last sing a long!
